The Cat and The City

A stray tortoiseshell cat weaves in and out of seemingly disparate lives across Tokyo in the build up to the Olympics. The cat sees all, and where the cat leads the humans will follow. From a tattoo artist to a video game champion: as the cat dances through the Japanese streets it brushes up against the lives of those who live there, connecting them in unexpected and, at times, magical ways. A love letter to Japan and its literature.
